Riftbound: Radiance - Complete Buying Guide (October 23, 2026)

The fifth chapter of Riftbound: League of Legends TCG is almost here, and Radiance is bringing new Legends, brand-new mechanics, and some of the flashiest cards the game has seen yet. If you're planning to jump into the set, this guide covers everything you need to know before release.

To celebrate the launch, metagames.toys is hosting a special Pre-Rift Event on:

📅 Thursday, October 22
🕖 7:00 PM
📍 567 NY-25A, Rocky Point, NY

Whether you're a competitive player, collector, or longtime League of Legends fan, Radiance is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Riftbound releases so far.

What Is Riftbound: Radiance?

Radiance (set code RAD) is the fifth expansion for Riftbound: League of Legends TCG. The set includes 180 cards, including 66 Showcase cards, plus nine new Legends, each with its own Overnumbered variant.

Radiance introduces several new ways to play:

  • Deploy – A new Gear keyword. Deploy Gear goes straight to a Battlefield and gives you benefits while it stays there. If your opponent takes that Battlefield, the Gear is destroyed.
  • Show Off (Reveal) – Reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock a bonus effect on the card you just played.
  • Disarm – Reduces an enemy Unit's Might as you attack. Multiple instances stack, similar to Assault.
  • Equipment Units – Orianna's Legend lets Equipment become Units (the Equipment is unequipped first).
  • Bomb Tokens – A new token type that rewards you for playing more and more Bombs.

Collectors also have something big to chase: a brand-new Ultimate Rare that appears in roughly 0.025% of booster packs, alongside Special Alt Art cards and music-themed Alt Art Runes.
